What you'll learn

  • How to log in and authenticate
  • Understanding the sidebar navigation
  • Using the command palette (⌘K) to jump around
  • Customizing theme, email preferences, and API tokens

Login & Authentication

Nole uses your company's single sign-on (SSO) via Google or Slack. When you first visit nole.saaslabs.co, you'll be prompted to sign in.

First time? Check your email for the login link, or ask your admin for access.

Forgotten password? Use "Sign in with Slack" or "Sign in with Google" — your company's identity provider handles it.

The Sidebar (Left Rail)

The left sidebar is your main navigation. On mobile, it moves to the bottom as a tab bar.

  • Today — your daily briefing (new findings, alerts, changes)
  • Signals — reports and insights, organized by theme
  • Cards — durable, pin-able items you're tracking
  • Ask — free-form Q&A with Nole (conversational AI)
  • People — your org directory and team insights
  • AI Experts — meet the AI specialists available in Ask
  • Hire — browse and hire AI agents to automate tasks
  • Discoveries — findings from all reports (searchable)
  • Settings — your preferences, API tokens, connected sources

Command Palette (⌘K or Ctrl+K)

Press ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) to open the command palette. Type to search:

  • help — jump to Help Center
  • ask — open Ask
  • Any person's name — find them in People
  • A surface name — jump to that page

The palette also shows recent items and quick actions.

Settings & Preferences

Click the gear icon in the sidebar to open Settings. You can:

  • Theme — toggle light/dark mode (also responds to your OS preference)
  • Email Preferences — choose which notifications you receive
  • Connected Sources — HubSpot, Slack, Jira, and other tools, connected once for the whole company by an admin (not per person)
  • API Tokens — generate personal access tokens for integrations
  • Team & Roles — manage who can see what data (ACL)

Note: connecting the company's tools is an admin action. If you're a regular user and a source looks disconnected, flag it to your admin — you don't need to connect anything yourself.
